Tasting Notes

“The 2015 Pinot Noir from Durell Vineyard is the most exotic and alluring wine in this range of pinots from Lutum. Super-ripe red cherry, hard candy, rose petal, lavender and raspberry build in a flamboyant, racy pinot endowed with pure pedigree and class. Vibrant, polished and breath taxingly beautiful, the Durell Pinot is a wine readers will not want to miss!” - Vinous, Antonio Galloni

Notes from Winemaker

Our block of Durell comes from 100% 667 Dijon clone, perched
on the top of the north section of the vineyard in heavy volcanic soils. The
grapes were destemmed and underwent a four-day cold-soak prior to fermentation.
The wine was then pressed into French oak barrels, (25% new) and bottled
unfiltered 16 months later in January 2017.
